Beakers & Bricks Returns & Refund Policy

At Beakers & Bricks, LLC, we’re passionate about supporting homeschool families with quality educational books, kits, and digital resources. We know how important it is to find materials that work well for your children, so we’ve designed our policy to balance your peace of mind with fairness for our small business.

Physical Products (Books and Kits)

We happily accept returns of physical items within 30 days of the delivery date (based on your shipping confirmation).

Conditions for Return:

  • Items must be returned in new, unused, and resaleable condition — in their original packaging, with all materials included, and free from writing, highlighting, stickers, damage, or wear.
  • Complete sets or kits must be returned together. Partial returns may be subject to adjusted refund amounts.

Refund Details:

  • You will receive a refund for the amount paid for the item(s) minus the credit card merchant fee (typically 2–4%).
  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
  • You (the buyer) are responsible for return shipping costs and any risk of loss or damage during shipping.
  • Refunds will be processed back to your original payment method within 10–14 business days after we receive and inspect the returned items.

To start a return, please contact our customer service team at info@edible-knowledge.com for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and shipping instructions. We’re here to help make the process smooth!

Digital Products and Subscriptions

All digital products and subscriptions sales — including downloadable PDFs, eBooks, online access, video courses, and membership subscriptions — are final. No refunds or returns are available once the purchase is complete and the digital item has been delivered or accessed.

We encourage you to carefully review product descriptions, samples, and previews before purchasing. Refunds for digital items will only be considered in rare cases involving technical defects that prevent access.  Note: subscriptions can be cancelled anytime by you or by contacting us at info@edible-knowledge.com.

Defective or Damaged Items

If you receive a defective or damaged physical item, please contact us within 10 days of delivery with photos and your order number. We will gladly arrange a replacement at no cost to you, including return shipping for the defective item.  Return of the original item is required for replacement.

General Terms

  • All returns require prior approval. Unauthorized returns may be refused or returned to you at your expense.
  • We reserve the right to decline returns that do not meet our conditions.
  • Personalized, custom, clearance, or closeout items are non-returnable.
  • This policy applies to purchases made directly through our website.
